In accordance with Florida Statutes, the
Department serves as Receiver of any insurer placed into
receivership in the State of Florida. The Division of Rehabilitation
and Liquidation has the responsibility of performing the duties of
the Department of Financial Services in the Department's capacity as
Receiver. The purpose of this website is to offer general
information to the public regarding insurance entities placed into
receivership. The basic responsibilities of the Receiver include the
collection of assets or debts due to the company, and evaluating all
known claims against the company. The Receiver's duties and
responsibilities are more fully explained in this website
