Foreclosure and Mortgage Fraud Prevention Fact Sheet

After HERA's passage, Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink created a Financial Action Team (FACT Team) to ensure that Floridians can maximize the benefits they receive from this law. FACT Team members represent a broad coalition of financial and housing stakeholders and are continuing to review ways that Floridians can qualify for assistance from the federal government.

Florida Supreme Court Task Force on Residential Mortgage Foreclosures Survey

CFO Alex Sink is asking Florida homeowners facing foreclosure as well as mortgage holders/lenders to complete a short survey for the Florida Supreme Court Task Force on Residential Mortgage Foreclosures. The Task Force is looking to recommend policies, procedures, strategies, and methods to ease the backlog of pending residential mortgage foreclosure cases while protecting the rights of involved parties.
