Flood Policy Information


I am a policyholder who has a flood policy with National Group Insurance Company. What is the current status of my flood policy? Do I still have insurance?

Flood policies are not cancelled by the liquidation court order and will continue, except if the policy was previously cancelled as a result of the nonpayment of current premium, or upon the normal expiration date.

If I received a renewal notice, will my flood policy be renewed? Yes, if you received a renewal notice, existing policies will be renewed upon payment of premium.

Can agents continue to sell new flood policies for National Group Insurance Company?

No. While the liquidation order does not cancel existing policies, agents can no longer write new policies in the name of National Group Insurance Company.

The company's flood claim processing procedure will continue. If you need to file a new claim or check the status of a pending claim, you may call National Flood Service, Inc at 1-800-759-8656 and a consumer representative will assist you.
