Genworth Life Insurance and Annuity Company

The Florida Department of Financial Services acting pursuant to Rule 28-104.005(2), F.A.C., hereby gives notice that on December 14, 2009 the Department received a petition for emergency 30-day variance from Rule 69B-162.011, F.A.C., from Genworth Life Insurance and Annuity Company in order to have more time to revise its systems before being required to use the forms adopted in Rule 69B-162.011, F.A.C.

Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada (U.S.)

The Florida Department of Financial Services acting pursuant to Rule 28-104.005(2), F.A.C., hereby gives notice that on November 30, 2009 the Department received a petition for 30-day variance from Rule 69B-162.011, F.A.C., from Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada (U.S.) in order to have more time to revise its systems before being required to use the forms adopted in Rule 69B-162.011, F.A.C. On December 16, 2009, the company requested that the petition be treated as an emergency petition to expedite processing. The Department will consider the petition on an emergency basis with a date of receipt corresponding to the date of the communication indicating the desire to have the petition be addressed on an emergency basis.
