NON-RESIDENT COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT PROPERTY INSURANCE FOR A FIRM

TYPE AND CLASSES:

  • 90-32 Communication Equipment Property Insurance

COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT is defined as handsets, pagers, personal digital assistants, portable computers, automatic answering devices, and other devices or accessories used to originate or receive communications signals or service and includes services related to the use of such devices, such as consumer access to wireless network; however the term does not include telecommunications switching equipment, transmission wires, cell site transceiver equipment or other equipment and systems used by telecommunications companies to provide telecommunications service to consumers.

COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT INSURANCE is insurance against loss, theft, mechanical failure, malfunction of or damage to communication equipment. This license may be issued to each business location of a retail vendor of communication equipment.

Application Qualifications:

  • Complete an online application for License and submit appropriate fees. Apply for license
  • Business must not be located in Florida.

Special Notes

Each office, branch office or place of business making use of the entity’s business name must obtain a license after the main branch or location has been licensed.
